Governor of Katsina State, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda led Northwest Governors to meet with Dr. Akinwumi Adesina, the African Development Bank President (AfDB) and his team.
The meeting took place on Saturday at the AfDB headquarters in Abidjan.
Highlight of the meeting was a presentation by the team lead, Governor Dikko Radda of Katsina State and briefings on utilising the Special Agro-Industrial Processing Zones programme by Dr Beth Dunfund, the Vice-President, Agriculture, Human and Social Development of the African Development Bank.
Governors in attendance were, Dauda Lawal of Zamfara State, Idris Nasir of Kebbi State, Hadiza Balarabe, Deputy Governor of Kaduna State, Aminu Abdulsalam Gwarzo, Deputy Governor of Kano State and Idris Mohammed Gobir, Deputy Governor of Sokoto State.
