Deutsche Welle Radio Sustains Partnership With Bauchi Radio

The Management of the Hausa Service of Deutsche Welle (DW) Radio in Germany has pledged to sustain its partnership with the Bauchi Radio Corporation for the provision of quality service to the people.
Head of Hausa service of Deutsche Welle Radio, Mr. Thomas Mosch, gave the assurance in Bauchi during a courtesy visit to the Managing Director of Bauchi Radio Corporation (BRC), Hajia Jummai Liman Bello in her office.
Mr. Thomas Mosch, while commending the management of the Bauchi Radio Corporation for sustaining the services of the station despite the challenges, noted that the station has been a major contributor to the successes and developments recorded by the DW Radio.
Mr. Mosch said that Deutsche Welle Radio which has over one hundred and twenty (120) million listeners World-wide, forty (40) million of them were from Africa while forty five million listeners follow DW on the internet.
The Head of Deutsche Welle Hausa service explained that part of the DW’s effort to sustain the partnership with the BRC was the invitation of one BRC staff for a six months internship with the Hausa service of the DW.
Responding, the BRC Managing Director, Jummai Liman Bello, commended the Radio Deutsche Welle Hausa Service for the effort towards the sustenance of its partnership with the Bauchi Radio Corporation (BRC).
Hajia Jummai Liman Bello reiterated the readiness of the corporation to promote professionalism through its collaboration with the DW Radio for the benefit of BRC’s teeming listeners.
Mr. Thomas Mosch has during the visit presented gifts for winner of the German league competition Bala Muhammad from Dambam local government area.
The gift items which include Jerseys and some materials were handed over to the winner, Bala Muhammad in a brief ceremony held at the conference hall of the BRC.
Mosch called on listeners of DW to send their observations and comments on the station’s performance in order to serve them well.
Receiving the gifts, German league competition winner, Bala Muhammad called for more support from DW Radio to enable him further his education.
