As part of its plans to make Nigerians enjoy the fun associated with the Russia 2018 World Cup, Nigeria Football Supporters Club in conjunction with Telecom Youth Games have announced plans to organise a ‘Fly to World Cup’ lottery draw on April 29.
The draw according to the two bodies will offer opportunity to 20 lucky Nigerians to enjoy an all expenses paid trip to Russia to support the Super Eagles.
Chairman of Telecom Youth Games, Tuoyo Ayonmi explained that his organisation is partnering with the Supporters Club because of it’s integrity even as he urged football loving Nigerians not to miss the opportunity offered by the lottery.
“As a responsible organisation, we decided to give something out to Nigerians who are passionate about football .We also decided to partner with the Supporters Club because of its pedigree, integrity and good track record which it has sustained for more than 60 years since its formation.
National Chairman of the club Rev. Samuel Ikpea announced that the lottery ticket will go for N200 and the 20 lucky winners will travel with the club for the Mundial with all their travel expenses such as air ticket, accommodation and feeding taken care of.
He advised interested Nigerians to purchase their tickets from the National Headquarters of the Club at Ayinde Street , 12 Mabo Street and National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos and all the state chapter secretariats of the club.
President General of the club, Dr. Rafiu Ladipo while commending Telecom Youth Games for the wonderful initiative, promised Nigerians that the club members will be in Russia in their hundreds even as he advised them to be wary of disgruntled individuals who are out to tarnish the image of both the club and the country.
