Fashion Designer, 25 Others Nabbed Over Alleged Possession Of Assorted Hard Drugs, Cultism

Police operatives have arrested a fashion designer in Delta State over alleged possession of assorted hard drugs.
Similarly, they also apprehended 25 young men for allegedly being members of a secret cult
Our correspondent gathered that the fashion designer identified as Larry Onifon, 24, was arrested during a raid of a black-spot in Okwuchi quarters, Eku by the operatives attached to the Command’s Crack Surveillance team on 1st February, 2022.
It was learnt that assorted substances suspected to be hard drugs were recovered during the raid of the spot.
According to report, the exhibits include40 packets of 100mg Tramadol, 89 wraps of weeds suspected to be Indian hemp, four sachets of Swinol, three containers of Loud, 55 wraps of substances suspected to be cocaine.

The suspected cultists, it was gathered were apprehended by operatives of the Command Raider at a hideout at Agbor during a raid exercise.
The police public relations officer DSP Bright Edafe confirmed the report in a release made available to journalists.
According to the release, Larry stated that the cartel popularly called ā€œOBJ cartelā€ is owned by one of the fleeing suspects named ā€œOBJā€.  
It reads, ”  On 1/2/2020 at about 0900hrs, acting on intelligence, the Command Crack Surveillance team raided a black-spot in Okwuchi quarters,  Eku during which one Larry Onifon ā€˜mā€™ age 24yrs was arrested. 
The Suspect who claimed to be a fashion designer was arrested in the drug Neighborhood while other suspects took to their heels. 
The following exhibits were recovered: Forty (40) packets of 100mg Tramadol, eighty-nine (89) wraps of weeds suspected to be Indian hemp, four (4) sachets of Swinol, three (3) containers of Loud, fifty-five (55) wraps of substances suspected to be cocaine.
The suspect , Larry Onifon stated that the cartel popularly called ā€œOBJ cartelā€ is owned by one of the fleeing suspects named ā€œOBJā€.  

Suspect is in custody while manhunt for the other fleeing suspects is ongoing.Ā 
Similarly, on the 31/01/2022 at about 2100hrs, the Command Raiderā€™s operatives raided a criminal hideout at Agbor, Delta State, during which twenty-five (25) male suspected cultists were arrested.Ā 
Some of the suspects confessed being members of Black Axe Confraternity and Junior Supreme Aiye Confraternity. Investigation is ongoing”.
Meanwhile, the Commissioner of Police Delta State, Ari Muhammed Ali, while appreciating officers and men for their tireless efforts in the fight against crime and criminality, also admonished them to be alive to their responsibilities and discharge their duties effectively.Ā 
Ali thanked Members of the public and other stakeholders for their continuous support and partnership with the Command.Ā 
He assures all that the Command under his watch will not let them down.
