Presidential candidate of the National Action Council (NAC) on Thursday cautioned the Federal government as well as President Muhammadu Buhari against entering into any negotiations with the dreaded Boko Haram insurgents on the kidnap of the 110 Dapchi girls

Dr Agoro handed down the warning in Ibadan in a statement made available to newsmen titled “Muhammadu Buhari again negotiating with Terrorists”.

The NAC Presidential candidate and National Chairman declared that it was “shockingly and embarrassing” that President Buahri was  reported saying on  Monday, March 12 2018 that “ Nigeria would prefer to have the Chibok and Dapchi school girls abducted by Boko Haram back alive through negotiations rather than adopt a military option”
“It becomes at this stage to say loud and clear that it has never be seen, heard of and or found any where the global sphere where good and great leaders were  seen negotiating peace with mindless terrorists.   It has never been seen where great generals go down so low negotiating peace with animals in human skin. It is a known fact that great Generals on discipline and principle die in the war front with their boots on.” he said                                                               Dr Agoro stressed that it will be wrong for  Nigeria as a country to go with hands folded behind the back entering into another round of negotiations with the Boko Haram terrorists, saying , “the last time Nigeria did it without careful calculations and deep considerations lacking, freed from our prisons 4 of the most dangerous terrorists this in addition to paying the Boko- Haram insurgents US$2 billion before getting freed 82 of our girls who were returned back to us either pregnant and or carrying Boko Haram babies.

He added that the aftermath of the last  negotiation with the Boko Haram  “was strongly arming the terrorists with more money in particular US$ 2 billion to purchase more war weapons to fight and kill us. No! this is unacceptable. This is wrong! This is terribly wrong.”

“For goodness gracious God’s sake what one wonders actually  went wrong with the military intelligence collection that allowed the terrorists entering Dapchi with reckless abandon catching our able and capable military and police officers napping and sleeping on duty. Can we say realistically that this new round of kidnapping  is playing on the intelligence of the people.”
