Chairman of Danja Local Government Council in Katsina State, Alhaji Rabo Tambaya has said that his administration will focus attention on developmental projects for rapid development of the area. Alhaji Rabo Tambaya stated this shortly after the Vice Chairman and ten councilors of the area were sworn-in.
He mentioned water supply, healthcare delivery, road construction, youth and women empowerment as well as educational development would receive a boost under his administration.
He charged the councilors to prepare for the task ahead and called for a smooth working relationship to achieve the desired goals.
Earlier, the acting Head of the Local Administration of the area, Alhaji Imrana handed him notes that signified the official handing over.
Also, the chairman of the Elders Forum in Danja, Alhaji Adamu S K called on the collaboration of the stakeholders to move the area forward.
Chief Magistrate in the area, Shamsuddeen Isma’il Funtua administers the oath of office to the vice chairman and ten councilors of the local government area.
