CSO Enumerates Buhari’s Achievement, Calls for Massive Support

Thousands of Pro-Buhari protesters under the aegis of Era of Change, trooped out in Lagos to drum up support for President Mohammadu Buhari’s administration, just as they enumerated his achievement and urged him to continue with the change agenda.
The protesters, male and female, young and old matched through the Awolowo way from Allen Avenue junction to Alausa, the seat of the state government, where they were received at the governor’s office by the Commissioner for Establishment, training and Pension Dr. Adetola Isaac on behalf of the governor.
Armed with placards with several inscription such as , “ We Support the Buhari Government”,  “We Say No To Corrupt Leaders”, “ Nigeria is Now Moving in The Right Direction”, “Continue The Judiciary Probe”, “ Buhari Keep The Good Work”, among others, the protesters urged  the president and his management team not to be detracted by sycophants.
While enumerating the achievements of the Buhari’s administration, convener of the group comrade Liberty Badmus said Buhari has returned the country to the path of glory among the comity of nations since assumption of office through his anti-corruption policy.
He added that the defeat of the Boko Haram insurgence by the military in less than two years of assumption of office by Buhari was a great achievement that has strengthen the believe and trust of Nigerians in the federal government.
His words, “Most people that have been referred to as untouchable such as former military chiefs have been dealt with by Buhari. The most famous was the former National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki. The Buhari government through the Finance Minister struck thousand of ghost workers off the public payroll and this has save the country billions of Naira. Over 500 Billion Naira loot recovered in cash, property worth more than three trillion seized from looters, 200,000 jobs created with N-power initiative, dignity of Nigeria military restored, foreign reserved on a steady rise, age long budget padding stopped.
Road repaired completely, accountability in Customs and other agencies of government, leakages and avenue to loot government funds blocked, Nigeria’s image globally restored, Ajaokuta Steel Mill issue resolved, N72B to China for Lagos- Ibadan railway line, N5000 stipend to the vulnerable Nigerians, 11, 595 victims rescued by the Nigerian troops in the North east, recruitment of 10,000 persons into the Nigerian Police, Roads are more motorable like never before, Port Harcourt, Warri and Kaduna refineries currently producing at a 7 million litres per barrel per day among others”.    
Badmus posited that the agriculture and solid mineral resources are already growing steadily, adding that the country will soon get out of its recession with the efforts put in place by government.
While receiving the protesters, Dr. Isaac commended them for identifying with the government and recognising its achievement so far.
Isaac, who said Governor Akinwunmi Ambode was unavoidably absent, assured that their presentation will be communicated to the governor.
