The Crime Reporters Association of Nigeria (CRAN) has congratulated CSP Muyiwa Adejobi on his appointment as the acting
Force Public Relations Officer.
CRAN, a body of journalists assigned to cover police and security related activities, described Adejobi as a detribalized Nigerian, which he exhibited when he served as the spokespeson of the Lagos State Police Command.
In a letter signed by Frank OshanugorChairman, Strategic Communications Committee of the group, CRAN noted that the “Acting” affixed to his position is a mere nomenclature and has therefore, not removed the fact Adejobi is the incumbent Nigeria Police Force image manager and mouthpiece proper.
The group therefore urged him to maintain the distinct sterling qualities now as the number one police spokesman in Nigeria..
The release reads, ” As a body of professional journalists assigned to cover police and security related activities across the various states in Nigeria, the Crime Reporters Association of Nigeria (CRAN) wishes to share in your recent elevation to the position of Acting Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO) and heartily congratulates you on this well deserved elevation.
