Patron of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) Kaduna State Chapter, Engineer Musa Nimrod has magnanimously donated palliatiaves to members of the association.
A statement signed by the Secretary Kaduna SWAN, Okpani Jacob Onjewu Dickson, made available on Wednesday May 20, 2020, said that Engineer Nimrod, who is also the President of the Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF) made the donation through the executives of the association, ably led by Comrade Isaiah Kemje Benjamin (JP), who is the State Chairman.
The donations are aimed at cushioning effects of the COVID-19 lockdown, which has affected members of the association.
“We are grateful to our able patron for this gesture. Our members are excited and are praying to God to keep protecting and blessing Engineer Nimrod,” it stated.
It informed that all eligible members of the association will be contacted on where and when to receive their share of the food items by Friday.
It would be recalled that several individuals and corporate organizations have been reaching out to Nigerians with palliiatives following the outbreak of CoronaVirus and the resultant lockdown in Nigeria.
