The Kaduna State High Court sitting at Dogarawa, Zaria has adjourned the case between Abdullahi Salisu Balarabe and Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic Zaria to November 16, 2021 for definite hearing.

Adjourning the case, Justice Kabir Dabo said there are four pending applications for hearing and due to the time frame, the case was adjourned.

Lawyers of both parties were present at the Court as well as the Plaintiff, while the defendent was not in court.

Barrister Mohammed Murtala Ibrahim and Barrister Alisha Ismail and her team agreed with the adjournment.

The case was instituted by Abdullahi Salisu Balarabe seeking for an order stopping the Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic from inviting him to appear before any committee for lack of jurisdiction.

He said that as a Sensor Lecturer, only the Governing Board is empowered to constitute a committee for him to appear before it but the Polytechnic has no Governing Board that can act on such a move.

The counsel to the plaintiff told the court that they have powerful submissions to make.
