The Commonwealth Scholars and Fellows Alumni Association, Nigeria (COSFAN) will host its 2024 International Conference in Ibadan next month
According to President of the Association, Dr Ekundayo Samuel, the International Conference is to hold from 14th to 15th October, 2024 at Trenchard Hall, University of Ibadan.
Dr Samuel stressed that the event, themed, “Reimagining an Inclusive Society through Governance, Technology, and Social Justice,” will focus on critical issues like health systems, global peace, security, governance, technology for development, and resilience in crisis response.
He maintained that the conference aimed to bring together experts, scholars, policymakers, and other relevant stakeholders to deliberate on: Health systems and capacity building, global peace, security, justice and governance.
Dr Samuel listed speakers at the conference to include, Senior Special Assistant to the President on SDGs, Presidency, Abuja, Her Excellency, Chief (Mrs.) Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire, Prof Francis Egbokhare, former president of the Nigerian Academy of Letters.Dr Elizabeth Dalgardo, oFaculty of Biology, Health and Medicine,
