Corruption, Bad Leadership Major Cause Of Nigeria Numerous Problem – NIM

The Nigerian Institute of Management, NIM, over the weekend identified corruption and bad leadership as major cause of the numerous problems facing Nigeria and its people.
Speaking during a courtesy visit to a Fellow of the Institute, FNIM, on Saturday, Professor Sabit Ariyo Olagoke JP, the NIM South West Chairman Sanyaolu Olopade asked Federal Government to urgently fashion out ways of finding solution to the problem.
The NIM South West Chairman maintained that with good leadership, Nigeria has hope for greatness in all spheres of life and get rid of its present economic depression in good time.
In a chat with newsmen, the NIM Chairman Ilaro Chapter, Mr M Ogundeyi lauded Federal Government  for its courage to fight corruption noted for crippling the growth of Nigeria as well as  adversely affecting the masses for many years with the masses suffering for it.
Mr Ogundeyi while saying that NIM would closely monitor the activities of those called to provide good leadership called for advocated integrity, patriotism and transparency from those in positions of authority.
Commending Professor Olagoke,the NIM Chairman said “it is on record that he is a philanthropist to a great extent”saying, “you are a member of several professional bodies and also an accomplished author of not less than 2000 publications .You have graciously donated many of the books to many people irrespective of their socio-economic or religious beliefs”
In his address titled “NIM, A Searchlight of Development” the Spiritual Head and Founder of Shafaudeen In Islam Professor  Olagoke urged the Institute to work on issues of War Against in discipline in order to zero down corruption through necessary and timely sanction on the offenders,help on the areas of work ethics as well as creating environment of right and adequate funding of small scale industries in entrepreneurship or technopreneurship”.
Professor Olagoke then pledged his loyalty and support for NIM codes of conduct and promised to be of support to the Institute both locally and nationally.
At the courtesy visit, over 20 books and periodicals authored by him and some associations in Shafaudeen -In- Islam were donated to the Ilaro Chapter of the Institute.
