The Chairman National Association of Community Health Practitioners Kaduna State Chapter, Aliyu Abdulrasheed Umar has joined other citizens of Nigeria in the celebration of the country’s 62nd independence Anniversary.
Umar who spoke with journalists in Zaria, described the anniversary as an important event that calls for retrospection of the journey in the last 62 years as well as reflection on the current extremely challenging situation in the country.
He therefore, commended the past leaders for their ability to keep the country intact.
The chairman called on members to redouble their efforts in providing good health services to the community as part of their humanitarian gesture.
He emphasized the need for Community Health Practitioners to always adhere to the code of ethics of their profession to guard against misconduct in healthcare services.
On their part, Umar said that they will not relent in the struggle for welfare and good working condition of their members.
He re-assured members of his earlier pledge to lead the association to the greater position it deserves.
