The Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen Faruk Yahaya has commissioned four blocks of 12 classrooms with eight offices at Nigerian Army School of Military Police, Basawa Zaria.
In his remarks, the COAS said the project will strengthen the school in training professional personnel in the Nigerian Army.
He expressed appreciation for the wonderful projects carried out in the school.
Gen. Yahaya also flagged off the tree planting in the school which he said, is in line with his mission in the fight against desertification in the military barracks.
Also during the visit, the Chief of Army Staff inspected the K9 Dog Site, where he saw how dogs were moulded to become a K9 after receiving training as explained by Sgt. Alhassan Aminu who is coordinating the dogs training.
The training given to the dogs is expected to boost efforts put in place in the fight against insecurity and other security threat in the country.
