Christmas: UPA President Challenges Communities on Peace

National President Federal Universities Pensioners Associational, FUPA, Dr. Ayuba Audu Kura has advised committees with various issues with government to follow an amicable ways of addressing their problems rather than going into violence.

 Dr. Kura who gave the advice in a statement issued in Zaria on the occasion of Christmas and New Year celebration, to the Christian and Nigerians.

He said, peaceful coexistence is the only way of addressing issues and making development in their respective areas.

The presidents also called on southern Kaduna people not to allowed themselves to be used in destroying their area by continuing with consistent violence in the name of tribalism or religious differences.

 The presidents who expressed his dissatisfaction on the way and manner the southern Kaduna protest led to the destruction of propertyincluding the State Governors convoy.
Dr. Kura said Southern Kaduna people were known for love, tolerance and respect of leaders but now all these are fading away.

He wished that this period of Christmas will be a period of reconciliation on all issues at stake for the area to move forward.
