Hundreds of Christian and Muslim including men as well as women gathered in Jos, the Plateau State Capital to pray for the safe return of President Muhammadu Buhari from medical trip abroad.
The Women from Jos North local Government area under the group ”Women for Change“ conducted prayer session for three days to demonstrate their love for the President.
According to the group, they are “disturbed over the way and manner some Nigerians considered the sickness by pouring all kind of sentiment “.
The event which further reconciled the people of the state divided along religious line was held at Zawiya Hall along Ololo junction in the metropolis.
The group explained that they are not happy “over the attitude of some Nigerians which only showed the increasing level of indiscipline among people”.
One of the Speakers, Mrs. Ruth Pam also called Maman Buhari said they are only awaiting his return to the country.
She explained that President Buhari’s sickness is never ordinary saying that there are some people who are still not happy with the new turn of events in this nation.
They also prayed for the President urging all Nigerians irrespective of religious differences to pray for our leaders in line with the teaching of Holy Book.
