The Chinese Business Community Association of Nigeria (CBCAN) under the leadership of Wakilin Mutanen China, Mr. Mike Zhang has condemned the killing of one Ummulkulthum Buhari allegedly by a Chinese national, who was her lover, Mr. Geng Quanrong.
A statement signed and issued to newsman in Kano by the personal assistant to the Wakilin Mutanen China, Mr. Gueng Lei, described the killing as a crime and condemnable that can be allowed to be fully investigated by security agencies.
The statement further said that, ” the Chinese community in Kano supports the law taking its due course and thanked the government and people of Kano State for attending the matter with hospitality and maturity”
The Chinese community in Kano disclosed that they would continue to be law abiding and contribute immensely to the development of Kano State and Nigeria in general.
