CBN Trains Kebbi Farmers, Entrepreneurs on Financial Literacy

Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN has embarked on training of Kebbi farmers and entrepreneurs on financial literacy.
The training which kicked off Friday in Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi state, was aimed at broadening the scope of financial inclusiveness in Nigeria with a view to enhancing the micro economic indices of the country.
Speaking at the opening of the training workshop, representative of the customer service department of the apex bank, Abubakar Albisi Yahaya stated that the training is essentially organized to educate the participants on effective financial management and improve spending culture among Nigerians.
He urged the participants to transmit the knowledge acquired to other stakeholders for effective results.
Also speaking, the training facilitator, Mr. Nosa Ibrahim said the participants would be trained through proper budgeting concepts, risk management, investment techniques and decisions.
The participants were drawn from various groups and organizations under the auspices of Kebbi State financial literacy group.
