Royal Arms Motors put up a brilliant performance to beat KB Lamah Motors 2-0 in the group stages of the Car Dealers Peace and Unity Soccer Competition in a match played at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna on Tuesday.
Royal Arms scored the first goal in the first half, KB Lamah had an opportunity to level scores few minutes later, but failed to convert a penalty kick that was awarded by the centre referee.

The victory was sealed for Royal Arms in the dying minutes of the game when the second goal came after a goal mouth melee.
Fans of KB Lamah after the goal, encroached into the pitch in protest, but were sent back to the stands by the security personnel before the match was concluded.

In an interview after the final whistle, Coach of KB Lamah, Danlami Kwasau said that his team played well in spite of the defeat.

“My team played well. I am confident with what they played because they played according to instructions,” he said.
Kwasau however, decried the situation whereby teams overhaul their entire team overnight, describing it as suspicious.

Also speaking, Chairman of Royal Arms Motors, Mansur Lawal said his players won because they were well motivated.
“We paid N5,000 allowance to all our players after each match and that makes them bring out the best,” he added.

Lawal while speaking further, boasted that they are out to win the trophy, stressing that they are not scared of playing any team.
