Campaign Promises: Please Be Patient With Buhari, Presidential Aid Begs Nigerians

Senior Special Assistant to the President on House Assembly Matters, Hon. Abdulrahman Kawu has pleaded with the Nigerian electorate to exercise more ‎ understanding over unfulfilled campaign promises.
Speaking to journalists in Jos at the weekend, Kawu said, “I want to again plead with Nigerians who have been showing understanding since the inception of this regime to do more. “
 The Senior Special Assistant assured the electorate that the regime was committed to improving the lots of Nigerians by embarking on meaningful projects capable of improving the society.
According to him, “Apart from the N-power program which many Nigerians benefited from, there are other agricultural and winning policies aimed at providing jobs to millions of electorate “. 
He said that President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration was committed to removing all obstacles to the nation’s greatness within the African sub region.
Kawu called on the group of professionals to help the government in formulating workable strategies that would move the country forward.
According to him, “Nigerians cannot afford to return to the dark era of PDP administration characterized by insecurity, corruption, bad governance and lack of direction as a country.
On the seeming face-off between members of the National Assembly  and the presidency which has had negative effects on the provision of governance under democracy, Kawu called for more understanding between the two arms of government.
He also advised the current administration of Plateau State under the APC to work towards consolidating on the existing peace being enjoyed in the state.
Kawu explained that what was needed now in Plateau State is the assurance of justice, fairness, good governance and change from the way things were done.
