The Paramount Ruler of the Bachama Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Homon Dr. Daniel Shaga Ismail (OON) has promised to attend the forthcoming Bwatiye Youth National convention slated for early April 2022 at Njoboliyo Yola-South Local Government Area of Adamawa State.
The Hama Bachama, made the promise when he received the Caretaker Committee of the Youth Wing, Bwatiye Development Association (BDA) led by its Chairman, Koungu Thompson who were at his palace on a courtesy call.
Homon Ismail applauded the feat achieved so far by the caretaker committee in terms of consultation, mobilization and contacts, both within Nigeria and Cameroun.
He assured them that he would personally attend the convention along side his twin counterpart, His Royal Majesty, Hama Batta, Homon Alhamdu Gladstone Teneke (JP)
The Monarch pledged to fully support the committee in conducting a befitting youth convention which will chart a new course for Bwatiye worldwide.
“Youth are leaders of tomorrow, hence the need to redirect them for a better future”, Hama Bachama stated
Earlier, the Chairman of Bwatiye Youth Wing, Koungu Thompson told the Royal Majesty, that the caretaker committee since it’s inauguration has consolidated on the gains recorded by the previous committee sued for the presence of the two paramount Rulers as well as traditional title holders, Bwatiye scholars, Religious and opinion leaders, both from Nigeria and Cameroun at the youth convention..
He maintained that the convention will ratified the Bwatiye Youth Wing Bye-laws,set an entrepreneurship agenda for Youths and to be followed simultaneously by election of substantive new Executives on the same day.
New Nigerian reports that thousands of Bwatiye youth are expected at the convention.
