A former Chief of Army Staff, His Excellency, Ambassador Tukur Yusufu Buratai CFR has commended the efforts of the Vice Chancellor of Nigerian Army University Biu (NAUB), Professor Kyari Muhammad for upgrading, uplifting the institution to the best standard and enhancing the welfare of the staff.
Buratai made the commendation as the special guest of honour during a reception organized in honour of the departing university registrar, Major General S.S. Ibrahim, who was promoted and posted to become the provost, Army College of Education, and also for the promotion of Colonel B. Sarki to the rank of Brigadier General.
The event took place on Wednesday January 11, 2023.
He congratulated the newly promoted officer and also urged them to do more.
In his remarks, the VC appreciated the efforts and concern of Buratai towards the university, he assured that the management of the university would do anything possible to uplift the value of the university to be the best among its peer in the country and world at large, he urged this newly promoted officer to put in their best anywhere they find themselves.
Replying on behalf of the newly promoted officers, Major Gen S.S. Ibrahim said that he has learnt
a lot serving under the VC.
“If you work with my VC, you can work with anyone in the world, the good the bad and the ugly once you are committed and have passion for the job.
“I also want to assure the Special Guest of Honour that NAUB is one of the best in the country, we are hitting over 5,000 applications,’’ he concluded.
