Buratai Foundation Gifts  N250,000 To Zamfara Pilgrim For Returning   $80,000 Found In Saudi Arabia

The TY Buratai Humanitarian Foundation, on Sunday, gifted N250,000 to a Zamfara pilgrim,  Hajiya Aisha Nahuche, who found and returned $80,000 equivalent to over N84 million, to authority while at Holy Land.

The foundation also honoured her with certificate as an  ‘Ambassador of Honesty.’

In his speech, the chairman of the foundation, Hon. Ibrahim Danfulani at the Zamfara State Hajj Commission, Gusau, the state capital, said  what Hajiya Nahuche did, was an act of honesty.

He said  the act has not only restored faith in humanity, but has also inspired other Muslims to strive for a better world.

According to him, the foundation was  established in order to emulate the humanitarian efforts of the former Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Tukur Buratai, a grand patrol of the foundation, who gave his entire life in service to the nation.

“This foundation was established in order to emulate the humanitarian efforts of the former Chief of Army Staff His Excellency Amb (Lt Gen) Tukur Yusufu Buratai CFR, Garkuwan Keffi, Kauran Gusau who gave his entire life to his nation”. Danfulani said.

He further explained that the foundation is exceptional in helping the underprivileged, orphans, and widows, and  also  contributes to help people get stronger in a variety of fields by appreciating their efforts.

“We  have the privilege of recognizing a lady who displayed exceptional character and moral courage. In a world where greed and dishonesty often prevail, she stood tall and made a decision that would inspire us all,”  he added.

“This remarkable lady found a substantial sum of money worth over eighty thousand dollars that did not belong to her and instead of succumbing to the temptation that many would face, she chose the path of righteousness,” he said.

After finding the money, Hajiya Aisha Muhammad does not hesitate to return the money to Zamfara State Hajj Commission, headed by Amiru Hajj 2023 Alhaji Musa Mallaha Talban Gusau, from where the money was later returned to the relevant authorities in Saudi Arabia, where it rightfully belonged.

“Her act of integrity and selflessness serves as a shining example for all of us. It reminds us of the importance of doing what is right, even when nobody is watching. It teaches us that honesty is not just a virtue, but a powerful force that can inspire change and restore faith in humanity”.  Danfulani  added.

He maintained that the foundation has strived to make a difference in the lives of individuals and communities, and it is individuals like our honored guest who truly embody the spirit of the entire members of the foundation.

Danfulani called on Nigerians to be inspired to cultivate honesty and integrity in our daily lives, and to make choices that positively impact those around us.

The foundation also honoured the Chairman Zamfara State Hajj Commission 2023 pilgrimage Committee and also Amirul Hajj, Alh Musa Mallaha Talban Gusau with ambassadorial recognition.

According to him, the state Hajj Commission demonstrated sincerity and honesty by having the choice to remain silent while still returning the enormous sum of money to the Saudi authority.

In a vote of thanks, the State Committee of 2023 Hajj exercise, also the Amirul Hajj, Alh. Nusa Mallaha, thanked the foundation for the gesture and recognition to Hajiya Aisha Muhammad Yanguru Nahuche.
