President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday received the full details of the 2016 budget passed by the National Assembly.
Chief of Staff to the President, Alhaji Abba Kyari, presented the document to him at the State House, Abuja.
President Buhari had last week withheld his assent to the budget on the excuse that he was yet to see the details.
The Senior Special Assistants to the President on National Assembly Matters, Ita Enang (Senate) later told State House correspondents that: “The budget detail has been transmitted to His Excellency, Mr President, today. The constitutional process begins thereafter.
“We have transmitted it to the office of the President and constitutional process of timing begins”.
