Buhari, Osinbajo, Others Expected As  APC Flags Off Presidential Campaign In Jos On Tuesday

*PDP, others kick over alleged destruction of billboards

The All Progressives Congress (APC) on Saturday,  announced  plans to flag off the 2023 Presidential Election Campaigns in Jos, the Plateau State capital, on Tuesday November 15, 2022 at Rwang Pam Township Stadium.

Speaking during a press briefing led by Rt. Hon. Idris Wase in Jos, the party said, “we are expecting to receive thousands of guests and numerous of supporters at the event.”

He further mentioned that the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu  Buhari and his Vice Prof. Osinbajo,  all present and former APC governors, all APC members of the National and State Houses of Assembly, all APC candidates and their supporters, all APC executives across the 36 states of the federation, will also be in attendance during the event making.

Hon. Diket Plang who also attended the press briefing, disclosed that the state is fully prepared for the flag off exercise, while expressing confidence that the Plateau State people are eager to host this historic event.

Also, those in attendance during the press briefing were the Plateau State Deputy Governor, His Excellency Prof. Sonny Gwanle Tyoden, Deputy Speaker  House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Idris Wase, Rt. Hon. Yusuf Adamu Gagdi, Speaker Plateau State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Yakubu Yakson Sanda, State APC Chairman, Hon. Rufus Bature, APC Governorship Candidate, Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda, among others.

However, the main opposition  in the state and other political partirs are accusing the ruling party of destroying their billboards and other campaign materials preparatory to this event.
