Blue House left no one doubting their superiority as the secured close to 100 points advantage to emerge winners of the 8th Inter-house Sports Competition of Faith Academy, Kaduna at the weekend.
With 756 points, they stole the show, leaving closest contenders, Yellow House with 695 points to settle for the second position.
Third position was claimed by Red House, who garnered 603 points, while Green House settled for the fourth spot with 511 points.
In the invitational relay, Challawa Schools, inspired by athletes from Coach Felix Academics and Sports Foundation, won the gold.
Underated Filkom Schools finished with the silver, while Air Force Secondary School who were favoured to win, settled for the bronze.
In the female category, CSS Kawo picked the bronze after a brilliant finish, categorized by good exchange of batons.
Air Force Secondary Schools won the silver and Bethel Baptist High School were decorated with the bronze medals.
Faith Academy JSS 2 student, Peace Lekwot, who won a total of 18 gold and six silver medals, emerged the MicroManna Most Valuable Athlete and was presented with a Giant multiple printing machine for her effort.
In an interview with newsmen after the closing ceremony, Principal of the school, D.I. Edokpolor said he was happy that this edition was an improvement over the previous.
He assured that in spite of several other programmes they are pursuing, the school will always prioritize sports in view of its importance to the overall development of the body, mind and intellectual prowess.
Also speaking, House Master of Blue House, who are winning back-to-back, Mr. Jude Ugwu dedicated their victory to hard work and dedication.
For the House Master of Yellow, who have maintained the second position for two editions, Mr. Bamidele Femi Gabriel said that with the talents they have discovered, they are set to win the next edition.
