President Muhammadu Buhari has assented to the 2016 appropriation Act making it a law.
Buhari signed the budget in the presence of the Senate President, Abubakar Bukola Saraki, and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, in his office at the Presidential Villa Abuja.
Others who witnessed the ceremony were the national chairman of the governing All Progressives Congress (APC), John Odigie-Oyegun and the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, David Babachir Lawal.
