Ibrahim Ismail, a Member of Kaduna State House of Assembly, representing Tudun Wada, kidnapped by gunmen on tuesday is said to have regained his freedom.
A close family source who pleaded anonymity said because s/he was not authorised to speak and for security reason said the family may have paid the ransom demanded by the kidnappers.
S/he said there were jubilations at the residence of the Lawmaker late Wednesday night which signified that he has been released by the abductors.
