Bomb blast in grain market Gombi; 10 feared dead, many injured

About  ten people have been reported  dead and many  injured in a suicide bomb blast that rocked the food stuff market of Gombi town in Gombi Local Government Area of Adamawa State on Friday.
Eyewitness reports that two suspected Boko Haram suicide bombers pretended to be normal food grains buyers while one of them detonated the explosive device on him killing scores and injuring many others.
“I counted nine people that looked dead alongside many  others injured by the blast” an eye witness who simply identified himself as Ibrahim said.
According to him, two boys in female clothing carried out the attack where one of them detonated while the second one detonated after he was shot by one of the hunters guarding the market.
Confirming the incident, the state Police Command Public Relations Officer, DSP Othman Abubakar however said four people died while 17 others were injured.
“Report reaching me showed that it was a suicide attack and four people lost their lives while 17 others sustained injuries”, Abubakar said.
