Boko Haram: Buhari Orders Soldiers To Take Over Yobe Girls College

President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday ordered  the deployment of soldiers and other security personnel to take charge and control of Government Girls Technical College, Dapchi, Yobe state.
Reports said Boko Haram jihadists had on Monday launched an attack on the college, a girls boarding school, but the students and teachers fled to safety.
‎Briefing State House Correspondents after a the weekly meeting of the  Federal Executive Council (FEC) at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed disclosed that President Buhari had also directed the Minister of Defence,Brigadier-General Mansur Dan-Ali to lead a delegation to Dapchi “to get first hand information as to what is happening.”
Also to join the delegation, Mohammed said, is the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama.
“That is precisely why Me. President is in direct contact with military and police and as soon as we get any information we will let you know‎,” the Minister of Information said.
