The Presiding Bishop of Sword of the Spirit Ministries, Bishop Wale Oke has asked Federal Government to improve its communication with Nigerians and diversify the nation’s economy for prosperity of the people.
Bishop Oke who said this in Ibadan while speaking with newsmen on his 60th birthday, declared that there is the need for President Muhammadu Buhari to always adequately acquaint Nigerians with the situation in the country
The Bishop pointed out that by improving its communication with Nigerians, this will go a long way in enabling Nigerians to realise that the current economic problem is global.
According to Bishop Oke, government should show Nigerians that the present hardship in the country was to prevent the people from getting the wrong impression about the government.
Bishop Oke however tasked the President Buhari administration to ask Nigerians to pray for the country “because God has solutions to all human problems”.
Speaking on his 60th birthday, Bishop Oke said “I don’t want to count years. I prefer to count achievements. The impact God has used me to make in the lives of others and in my generation is more important.”
Dignitaries expected at the convention and birthday ceremony of the Bishop include Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Pastor Enoch Adeboye and Bishop David Oyedepo.
