The Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Kaduna State Chapter has extended warm greetings to its patron, Engineer Musa Nimrod on his 60th meritorious birthday.
A statement issued and signed by its Secretary, Jacob Onjewu Dickson, dated Saturday March 5, 2022 described Engineer Nimrod as “a shinning light and one in a million role model to sportsmen and women not just in the state, but the nation as well as the African continent “.
SWAN said that since he came on board as the President of the NIgeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF), the nation’s players have enjoined unrivaled sponsorship to international outings and motivating moral, financial and infrastructural support.
“We are proud of you and optimistic that soon, NIgeria’s flag will be flying at the world stage as number indoor and beach volleyball nation.
“Your patriotism, generosity, commitment and passion for sports development will forever be recorded in history books.
“Besides volleyball, you have also contributed to development of football, athletics and a host of other sports.
“May Heaven continue to bless your efforts and reward you in all spheres of your endeavours,” SWAN prayed.
