Biafra secession agitators are selfish – Primate Turton
By; ODEYEMI SAMUEL, Akure.
The Founder, Success Gate C & S Christ’s Church International Nigeria, Primate Ade Ademisokun–Turton has debunked the attempt by some regions to break away from Nigeria describing it as selfish, saying what hold us together are more than those regional demands that few see as differences.
Speaking with Journalists in Akure, Primate Turton who is celebrating the 3st anniversary of the Church said, demands for break up by some people are never genuine as they spend billions of naira in Hotels at the detriment of their people who are languishing in abject poverty.
According to him, disappointments among themselves really indict them of lack of seriousness in their agitations since they had not being able to consider the immediate welfare of their people.
The General Overseer of Success Gate International, Bode Aseyori however thumped up President Mohammadu Buhari .
Commenting on the President’s war against corruption, he said, fighting corruption should not take the face of ”Witch Hunting”, adding that the leadership of All Progressive Congress (APC) and the likes of Alhaji Bola Ahmed Tinubu should maintain the peace because intra party crisis can consume the government of Buhari.
Commenting on 2016 election in Ondo State, he said gone were the days of band wagon effect as electorates are now more than ready to go for the best candidate that could be presented by any politically party.
He hinged his argument on the fact that the state is relatively more sophisticated since the people know what they want in terms of the ability of an individual to deliver good governance based on the pedigrees of individuals while in office.
At 31, he thanked God for granting the Church a great breakthrough physically and spiritually, saying God had done 31 times 31 in 31 places for solving all known categories of problems collectively and individually.
