Bauchi State Independent Electoral Commission (SIEC) Chairman, Alhaji Abdulmumini Mohammed Kundak has resigned his appointment
A competent source within the commission said Abdulmumini Kundak resigned his appointment last Friday.
Kundak, had earlier wrieten a letter of resignation to the State Governor, Mohammed Abubakar after he paid one month salary in lieu of notice at the State Treasury, Bauchi.
Kundak who was appointed by the state former Governor Isa Yuguda had till November 2017 for his tenure to expire.
Kundak, who was until the appointment, a Senior Special Adviser to the former governor, Mallam Isa Yuguda, had held many political positions including Deputy Speaker with the Bauchi State House of Assembly.
He had during the tenure as SIEC Chairman at one time or another during the immediate past administration in the state, planned the conduct of Local Government Councils elections but never materialized
