Bauchi Police arrest 20 year old girl, four other Fed-Poly students for cultism

The Police in collaboration with a vigilante group in Bauchi have arrested five students of the Federal Polytechnic, Bauchi including a 20-year old girl for cultism.
The spokesman of the Bauchi State Police Command, DSP Haruna Mohammed, in a statement made available to newsmen in Bauchi Friday said that the arrest of the suspects followed intelligence reports.
“On the 12/5/2016 at about 0300hrs (3:00pm), following intelligence report, Police operatives attached to the Bauchi State Command in collaboration with a vigilante group, arrested Five Students of the Federal Polytechnic Bauchi suspected to be cult members.
“Those arrested are Favour Daniel, female, (20) of Kanke L.G.A of Plateau State; Adesina Oludare, male, (20) of Obugu LGA of Osun State, Mohammed Kamal, male, (21) of Dengi LGA of Plateau State, Alam Shuaibu, male, (20) of Adamawa State and Salihu Yusuf, male, (29) of Akoko LGA of Edo State.”
The PPRO said preliminary investigation led to the recovery of one locally made revolver Pistol, one live ammunition of .9mm and one Knife.
He said the case is under investigation after which the suspects would be charged to Court for prosecution.
