The victory of Adamawa State Governor, Rt Hon Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) at the just concluded supplementary election earlier declared inconclusive by  the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) was a collective fight by party loyalists, and those who believe that evil shall not triumph over good.

In the state, there is  a noble personality who emerged, whose records of goodness are indelible that supported in no small measure, the reelection of Governor Fintiri.

Barr Mustapha Tahir, the Dan Jarman Adamawa is a proud son of the state and in his  party  the PDP,  is today seen as a superhero and the greatest blessing from Almighty to humanity, especially the people of Adamawa State.

Silence is golden, they say, probably a reason Tahir’s name is not ringing  the bell of attraction in the media space.

One of his principles in life is; “do whatever you can for humanity without begging attention and allow God take the glory”. This attitude of his, made him to be someone who touches each life that God allowed his path to cross with others, spreading joy to everyone he meets.

Mustapha is a supportive instrument that the PDP in Adamawa State can’t thank enough for giving sustained support during the presidential and governorship elections that saw the emergence of Fintiri as governor for another four years term.

Mustapha is a lawyer with a difference, a man that is cooler and wittier than the rest of the others, who prioritizes party loyalty to a paltry of Naira and Kobo. He gave in dozens of cash and materials and mobilized human resources to support Fintiri’s second term bid.

Mustapha is a purposefully driven personality, who believes in good leadership. He sees Fintiri as the best gift for the entire state and there can’t be any alternative better than him.

He went his normal way, consulted the high and lowly and even power brokers to make sure Fintiri’s mandate was not stolen or snatched because of injustice.

In Adamawa and elsewhere, Mustapha remains an inspirational figure to many old and young people and there is no doubt that he can do much more for humanity.

It is  no doubt a belief that even the doubting Thomases are convinced that  Mustapha is a future leader, another promising Adamawa young chap that can work wonders in transforming the state.

He is now a glowing and shining star in the horizon, whose time is now to shine, never to dim.
