BanZazzau condemns Bone’s outburst on herdsmen

The Kaduna State Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association Chairmanship Aspirant, Alhaji Umar Banzazzau has condemned the outburst of a security expert Dr. Bone Efoziem’s claim that cattle herdsmen were responsible for proliferation of illegal firearms in Nigeria.
In an interview with newsmen in Zaria, Banzazzau said Dr. Efoziem made the claims in a lecture he delivered in Lagos during an annual award ceremony organised by Crime Reporters Association of Nigeria (CRAN).
Banzazzau said Dr. Efoziem’s claim was wrong and has elements of sentiments which would not be acceptable to the Fulanis.
According to him, on daily basis herdsmen were killed and their cattle stolen. In spite of all these problems, people like Dr. Efoziem have never for a day identified the solution to this issue faced by Fulani’s but only to wake up and start accusing cattle herdsmen which look and sound sentimental.
The Chairmanship aspirant advised people like Dr. Efoziem who claimed to be security experts to always balanced their opinions before making it public.
He said Fulani’s have for long, being undergoing some difficulties, challenges over the activities of criminals who killed them and their families at the same time cart away their cattle.
Banzazzau reminded Dr. Efoziem that “Kidnappers were using heavy arms to carry out their deadly act and is it the Cattle herdsmen that supply them the arms or the arms used by oil bunkerers is Fulani-imported” he asked.
