Katsina State Government is to assign a white paper drafting committee to study report on the findings of the commission of enquiry into the recent Bakori/Kankara banditry Attack.
Alhaji Aminu Bello Masari confirmed this when he received the report of the commission led by Justice Abbas Bawale Abdullahi at Government House.
The governor appreciated the commission for the job done, adding that the attack was carefully planned and executed saying that it was not for rustling or kidnapping but a revenge mission
He however, said government would take measures to ensure it’s the first and last in the state, the North West and Nigeria in general.
Earlier the chairman of the commission of enquiry Justice Abbas Bawale Abdullahi of the state high court assured that the recommendations contained in the report would be useful to even the neighboring states and the federal government in tackling security problems.
He then thanked the state government for giving them the mandate to investigate causes of the attack leading to the killings.
