Auto crash: 6 die, 24injured in Oyo state during Eid El Kabir~ FRSC

Oyo state Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Mr Yusuf Salami has disclosed that six people lost their lives in auto crashes recorded in the state during Eid-el-Kabir celebrations.
The FRSC sector Commander also said 24 peoples were injured in the various auto crashes while 158 road offenders were booked by FRSC during the celebrations.
He attributed most of the auto crash recorded in the state during the Eid el Kabir festivities to reckless driving and violation of traffic rules and regulations.
Speaking on speed regulation, the FRSC sector Commander disclosed that there will be no going back in the enforcement of the new policy by FRSC as from October 1 this year on vehicles across the country.
The Sector Commander assured that FRSC will continue to be up to the task of ensuring safety of lives on highways across the country particularly in the ember months.
