A House of Representatives aspirant for Zango Kataf/Jaba Federal Constituency on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Kaduna State, Honourable Esther Abba, has described the attack on Kaduna-Abuja train by terrorists as most devastating and called on authorities concerned to be proactive towards ensuring sanity in the society.
She sympathised with those who lost their beloved ones in the attack and prayed to the Almighty God  to comfort and grant them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
To those who were injured, Honourable Esther Abba prayed for quick recovery for them to be able to continue with life.
In a statement she personally issued, “I earnestly pray to the Almighty father to grant those injured during the attack on the Kaduna-Abuja train a very quick recovery so that they will continue with life in good health. To those that were kidnapped by the terrorists, wherever they are and whatever they are going through, may the Almighty make ways that they will all be reunited with their beloved ones in good health.”
She called on the government and security agencies in the country to evolve ways in order to bring the security challenges in all parts of the country to an end, saying, “I personally believe that time has come for the government of the day to rise to the occasion towards ensuring the activities of all forms of criminality is brought to a hold. Nigerians should be given a conducive environment to go about their normal way of life in order to earn a living.”
She pointed out that Nigerians are being made to suffer in spite of the ongoing hardship that is making it impossible for many households in their homes to put food on the table.
She added, “The government of the day should please be in the shoes of the common man, how he has been made to suffer following the security challenges that have made many to abandon their ancestral homes to places where they could secure their lives and their families. The truth must be told that many are not finding life easy as they are really putting food on the table by the special grace of God.”
She added that something urgent needs to be done by the government to secure the lives and properties of Nigerians, saying that the government of the day should be seen to be on top of the situation in order to give Nigerians confidence that life is worth living in the country.
Honourable Esther Abba prayed for the restoration of peace, unity and development in every part of the country, saying that it is only when the country is secured that Nigerians could fully display their potentials for their upliftment and progress of the country.
She called on all Nigerians to join hands to fighting the common enemy that is almost causing trouble almost every day in the country.
