Some gunmen suspected to be armed robbers on Sunday morning invaded Fresh FM 109.5 in Ibadan owned by the ace gospel musician, Dr. Yinka Ayefele and carted away valuables.
New Nigerian gathered that the gunmen arrived Fresh FM complex along the Felele axis of the Lagos Ibadan around 6am and robbed all those on duty of their valuables.
Sources at the Fresh FM said the armed robbers collected phones and cash as well as other valuables from those on duty during the operation.
The news of the robbery was later flashed on the station few minutes after the armed men left, with some of those robbed still in panic.
One of the staff of the radio station said, “Yes it happened. There is no fatality. It happened, though I have not been in the office. It happened.
New Nigerian learnt that there was no casualty during the robbery .
It was gathered that as at the time of sending this report, the robbery incident has been reported to the police.
