Movement For The Support And Protection Of Democracy And Good Governance (MSDG) has called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to appoint the national president All Progressives Congress (APC) Initiative for good governance (APC-IGG) Ambassador Musa Mohammed Tsoken into his cabinet as minister.
In a statement signed and issued to newsmen by the organisation’s chairman, Dauda Mohammed Ali, MSDG said that Ambassador Musa Tsoken is eligible to be appointed as minister following his contributions and commitment towards the success of All Progressives Congress during the 2023 general elections in which the party emerged victorious in majority of the positions, including presidency.
“We are certain that APC-IGG has played a significant role towards the success of the ruling party where it climbed to the top and is holding majority of elective positions, with wide margin in all the 36 states and FCT, which is a clear indication that when Ambassador Tsoken is given a key position, we are certain that Nigeria would also be great,” the statement added.
Alhaji Dada Mohammed Ali stressed that among the APC support groups that contributed, APC-IGG’s role remains recognized by the party leadership, stakeholders, states chapters as well as local and wards executive, that is why MSDG resolved to call on all those who have a say in Tinubu administration to support his reward as a minister.
In his response through his personal assistant on Media and Publicity, Ambassador Musa Mohammed Tsoken said that supporting APC is a task that is important to all well meaning citizens of Nigeria because the party is working selflessly to bring more progress to the nation on economy, security, education, healthcare and agriculture among other things.
Ambassador Tsoken commended the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Senator George Akume for being more straight forward about the unity and peaceful coexistence of Nigeria and for being very generous in discharging his duties effectively and for the success of Tinubu administration with optimum results.
