The Benue State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, (APC) commended the exemplary leadership qualities of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the first year in office.
Chairman of the party, Mr Austin Agada, stated this during a special prayer session held at the Makurdi residence of the the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Sen George Akume.
Mr Agada who is leading the faction loyal to the SGF acknowledged the good policies of the President, maintaining that his reforms will put the nation on the fast lane of development and growth.
He also lauded the President for the several appointments given to Benue indigenes, “anyone writing petitions that the President has not carried the state along in his government is a big liar. He has sufficiently patronized us and for this act, we will support him at all times”.
“To the SGF, he remains our leader and we will not disappoint him. We will continue to prayer for him to succeed.
Speaking on behalf eight State Assembly members loyal to the SGF, Hon. Jonathan Agbidyeh representing Katsina-Ala East, pledged their allegiance to the former governor of Benue State, stressing that “no one will break our ranks”.
