The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bokkos Local Government Area has reiterated its resolve to deliver the party at all levels come 2023.
The Chairman of the party in the Local Government Area, Honourable Danjuma Mabas in a statement, pointed out that the people of Bokkos have been fully sensitised and mobilised in readiness for the forthcoming general elections.
He stated that as far as people of the local government area are concerned, their support and loyalty to the APC remains unshaken and total.
Hon. Danjuma Mabas dismissed rumours making the rounds that the support for the APC governorship Candidate, Dr Nentawe Yilwatda Goshewe has dwindled with the release of Senator Joshua Chibi Dariye as a mere propaganda and wishful thinking by political jobbers and opportunists.
The chairman said it is too late and impossible for anybody, not even Senator Joshua Chibi Dariye to change the momentum and support the people of Bokkos have for the APC, particularly the governorship candidate in the state, Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda Goshewe.
The LGA party chairman cautioned the former governor to thread softly and avoid anything that would bring confusion and disharmony among the people, particularly the APC family which he is supposed to be a major stakeholder.
He stated that what is expected of Senator Dariye at this time, is for him to mend fences and go with the political tide, rather than fanning the embers of discord and fighting imaginary enemies.
Hon. Mabas restated that it would be a herculean task and mission impossible for Senator Dariye and his sympathisers to stop Dr Nentawe from winning the governorship election in the state come 2023
The party chairman restated that the good and peace loving people of Bokkos are battle ready to engage anybody that would be a stumbling block towards the enthronement of Dr. Nentawe as the elected governor of Plateau s
State come 2023.
