The National President of the APC Initiative for Good Governance (APC-IG), one of the most formidable support groups of the All Progressives Congress, (APC), Ambassador Musa Muhammed Tsoken assured that his organisation is working selflessly to enable Nigerians enjoys good governance in every sector. In an interview with our correspondent, JABIRU A HASSAN in Kano, he explained that good governance would promote peace and unity in Nigeria like what would be enjoyed under Tinubu/Shettima administration.

Can you gives us more about APC-IG and it’s reasons for its formation?
APC initiative for good governance was established by some well meaning citizens in order to promote All Progressive Congress at both wards, local government, states and the national levels so as to ensure continuity in governance for the betterment of this great country. Similarly, our objective is to work selflessly towards the development of our fatherland without bias, this is one of the main reasons we formed APC-IG and duly registered with the national body of the All Progressives Congress as its support group.
Who are the members of your organisation?
We have members from every nooks and crannies of this country and we have national executives officers, we have zonal coordinators across our geo-political zones, we have local government and wards leaders and we have members from all professions, with which we pride ourselves as the most populated support group in Nigeria today.
You have narrated how you formed APC-IG, how did you cope with your party’s campaigns and other activities before the general elections?
This is another interesting question and we have done a lot by making various consultation with other relevant stakeholders, advocacy visits and public enlightenment about the need to vote for continuity in Nigeria and at states levels. Similarly, we were successful in making some reconciliation between our party members who felt offended in one way or the other and we toured all the states in the federation, campaigning for APC without bias, that is why we succeeded in our mission that is to promote continuity in Nigeria.
What can you say about Tinubu/Shettima led administration under the continuity slogan?
We have told Nigerians that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a trusted person who is always ready to ensure that peace and unity reigns in this country. He is a national figure who took things step by step as a great politician. He supported the incumbent president two times and assist him in so many ways, that is why we agreed that he would serve us well. He knows most of our problems and how to solve most of them if given the maximum cooperation. Therefore, continuity from Muhammadu Buhari to Bola Tinubu would lead Nigeria to higher level in the globe.
The 2023 general elections have been conducted though there are some controversies in some states and parties, what is your stand on this issue?
I am of the opinion that all would be well in the near future as majority have gone through with their election. I am appealing to the general public to continue to be law abiding citizens because there is livelihood after elections. Election tribunals would work seriously to ensure that all forms of election matters are settled without obstacles.
