A group simply known as Progressive Minds (PM) has vowed to mobilize human and material resources to ensure emergence of Musa Ibrahim Zamzam as North-West Youth Leader of All Progressives Congress (APC) at the party’s forthcoming convention slated to hold in February 2022.
In a press statement, Coordinator of the group, Rabiu Dutse exalted exemplary leadership qualities of Zamzam, saying the graduate of Local Government Studies by virtue of his knowledge of people at the grassroots would mobilize youth across the Zone for the victory of the ruling party at 2023 poll.
Dutse however, cautioned the ruling party not to make the mistake made by her predecessor in power which took Nigerians for granted by planting officials with credibility problems at helm of party affairs which he said led to her downfall.
He therefore, urged delegates and party stakeholders to support candidates with proven integrity, high moral standard and strong academic credentials needed to discharge effectively demands of their offices.
Dutse disclosed that after a careful and painstaking assessment of candidates seeking to occupy the office of North-West Youth Leader of APC, Zamzam came top among his peers in virtually every threshold set to determine suitability or otherwise of would be next occupant of the Zonal seat.
“Musa Ibrahim Zamzam is young, dynamic and full of big ideas and skills needed at this crucial time for our dear party to maintain its position at the centre and across states of the Federation.
” Academically, Zamzam is rich, versatile and bright with excellent resume that would make anyone proud and adversaries chock with envy.
” He is a master’s degree holder in intelligence study from Nigeria Defence Academy (NDA) which has stood him out from his contemporaries some of whom brandish questionable certificates from pseudo institutions that cannot be verified.
” We are optimistic he would be a performer, a workaholic for his party and a pace setter who will use his God-given talent and intellect for the advantage of our dear party.
” We as Progressives with deep-rooted passion to develop our society by way of looking out for deserving people to be entrusted with leadership position have found Zamzam worthy of our supports.
” In this light, We have collectively resolved to work wholeheartedly for Zamzam in the interest of our party, people and country, ” he assured.
