APC chairmen in eight of the ten wards in Misau Local Government Area of Bauchi state have disassociated themselves from a purported publication calculated to tarnish the reputation of the member representing Misau/Dambam Federal constituency in the National Assembly, Hon. Ahmed Yerima
The publication which is coming in the wake of political skirmishes between the lawmaker and Bauchi State Governor, Mohammed Abubakar was allegedly sponsored by the state government and placed as advertorial in the Daily Trust of Monday, August 8, 2016.
The advertorial which was carried under the title “Misau/Dambam Federal Constituency APC Stakeholders Forum” refuted some statements credited to lawmaker Ahmed Yerima and aired by the state broadcast media and some national dailies
Eight of the 10 APC wards chairmen of Misau Local Government Area who spoke to journalists in Bauchi said that they were not a party to the said paid advertorial ‎in the national daily

They also denied appending their signatures that appeared on the said publication, stating that their signatures were forged to show their purported consent for the publication.
The publication allegedly stated that the ward chairmen in Misau and Dambam LGAs that constitute the federal constituency have all disassociated themselves from Yerima over their lingering feud between him and the state governor, Mohammed Abubakar.
One of the APC ward chairman who spoke to the press, Ibrahim Zango Lawal of Kukadi/Gundari Ward,‎ said that they are solidly behind their member of the House of Representatives, Ahmed Yarima.
He said “We just got to see this concocted publication in a national daily on Monday, we don’t know how they smuggled our signatures we are not party to that, we are leaders of the party at the ward level, and loyal to all members and stakeholders, everybody in the party belongs to us we don’t discriminate among party members no matter one’s status”
‎”You can see all the wards chairmen of the Party in  Misau Local government are here with me to disassociate with the publication, among us are Nuhu Mohammed, Sani Mai Lemo and  Ibrahim Zango Lawal of Misau, Tofu Ward and Dukurmi  Wards respectively.
Others are Dan Bappah Karamba Isah, Ajigili/Gugulum Ward; Adamu Bappale, Sirko Ward;  Abdu Maigini, Hardawa Ward; Saleh Adamu, Beti Ward; and Dahiru Saleh, Jabdo Ward‎.

Also speaking, Sani Mai Lemo said that they were surprised when they saw their signatures on the said publication, querying that they should have been contacted on the issue before the publication of the said advertorial.
Lemo‎ however urged the stakeholders to come together and move the state and the local government forward but not to destroy the state through their differences which would not benefit the state and the local government.
