All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bauchi has expressed worriied over the delays in the taking off of the Federal Kitchen Innovation Institute which establishment was sited in Sabon Garin Narabi, Darazo and Zabi of Bauchi South, Central and North senatorial districts of the state respectively.

The party at a press conference in Bauchi on Saturday, attributed the delay in the take-off of the Institute in the state to what it described as the lackadaisical and nonchalant attitudes of the ruling PDP-led administration which, it argued, deliberately delayed and truncated the establishment of the school.

The State Chairman of the party, Babayo Aliyu Misau who recalled that the institute would have long before now been fully established in their respective intended locations, expressed concern that the truncation of process of establishing the school by the present PDP government in the state has up till today made them not see the light of the day.

Misau, who spoke through the party’s state publicity secretary, Comrade Sabo Mohammed, called on well-meaning citizens of the state to falsify the state government towards ensuring that these laudable projects are not lost just for the sake of political consideration.

“If the project is eventually executed, it would go a long way in creating wealth for our people, in educating our vendors in a modern way of providing balanced diet for our young people in our primary schools, as well as further our economic status of the state”.

He said, “But because of certain primordial sentiments, the Bauchi state government has succeeded in truncating the process, so it is a very unfortunate and we are calling on the state government to rescind this decision, because it is a very good decision so that the state cannot be excluded from the comity of states that enjoy such a wonderful initiative of the Federal Government of Nigeria”.

This is in addition, the Bauchi APC Publicity Scribe recalled, to a number of projects that the Bauchi state government is claiming to be 100 percent funding while it is clearly known that the projects are federal roads and it is the federal government of Nigeria that is funding such projects.

The chairman also said that the party is delighted with the number of projects put in place by the federal government in the state by the exemplary leadership of General Muhammadu, especially in the area of roads construction and the provision of qualitative education.

“In the area of education, Bauchi state has enjoyed enormous development projects, starting with the establishment of Bauchi state University of Science and Nutrition in Azare, Federal College of Nursing in Azare, Federal College of Education in Jama’are, and Federal Government College in Misau”.

“This is in addition to one of the novelty project that has been put in place by the Federal Ministry of Education in conjunction with Universal Basic Education Commission for establishing a model zonal secondary school for the Northeast domicile in Bauchi which work has reached 95 percent completion level”.

Comrade Sabo therefore commended the giant stride of the Minister of Education who incidentally is the APC leader in Bauchi State, Malam Adamu Adamu for demonstrating this sense of patriotism, and vindicated many citizens who believes in the Buhari project that he is the true son of Bauchi State.
