Anambra State Police Command Promises Enhanced Security

The Anambra State Police Commissioner, CP Tony Olofu, has assured residents of an enhanced security of lives and property in the state
He said the gesture is in line with the directives of the Inspector General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba on a rejig and stabilization of the security order across the country.
The state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP ikenga Tochukwu in a statement said that the Command has evolved new crime fighting strategies to dominate the public space and checkmate acts of criminality.
The statement partly read, “The Commissioner of Police, CP Tony Olofu further assures that the Command is committed to working with other sister security agencies to secure the state and reduce crimes to the barest minimum.
“To achieve this, the Command shall appreciate individual and collective efforts of all stakeholders towards supporting the Police in sustaining security, peace, law and order. 
“Members of the public are enjoined to be vigilant, law-abiding and to promptly report any act of criminality or breach of public peace to the nearest police station or call the Command’s emergency hotlines, 112, 07039194332, 08039334002.”
