Director General of Katsina State Safety and Road Traffic Agency-(KASROTA) has stressed the need for motorists and other vehicle operators to always abide by traffic rules.
Retired AIG Danlami Danbaba Yar’adua said the agency would not hesitate to deal with traffic offenders as part of the effort to bring sanity to road usage in the state.
The Director General said the agency was established to deal with improper road usage, reckless driving and number of traffic offences in the State.
AIG Danlami Yar’adua solicited for understanding and co-operation from members of the public for the Agency to achieve the set goals.
Also speaking, the Commandant of the agency, Alhaji Usman Umar said the Agency was established to control road traffic and provide job to teaming youth in the State.
Alhaji Usman Umar said officers and men of the agency will swing into action as soon as working tools were provided by the state government.
